(Dined 01/13/2024 SA @ 12:30pm): I certainly wouldn't get buff eating the smorgasbord of food at this golden hibachi restaurant in the San Gabriel Valley! It was a somber event that brought together family, friends, and relatives to Gold Hibachi Buffet for a post-funeral celebration of life for one of my last remaining uncles. At this age and stage of my life, it seemed that the only reason we all gathered was the passing of a loved one. But in true Filipino fashion, we loved to eat, and what better place to enjoy a meal and caught up with everyone than a buffet!? I'd never been here nor ever heard of this place which was very odd since my immediate family loved buffets and dim sum places. Was this a golden moment to add this buffet with a hibachi section to our list of places to eat!? PURCHASE Saturday & Sunday All Day Dinner Adult ($25.49): This price also included fountain soft drinks. Pricing for kids 2-10 years old was $2.50/year, and kids under 2 years old were FREE. Here was a quick snapshot of what I ate: ~1st Plate Sushi - I worked over the sushi section and nearly grabbed one of everything to try! It was all freshly-made and very good. Unless we ordered any drinks other than sodas and waters which were self-served, or you went to the hibachi grill, the only constant service was the staff who cleared away the empty glasses and plates. I elt all went smoothly - thank you! PARKING (FREE) They had a large private lot with ample stalls - 'nuff said. Little to no decorations in the main area, with a cloud-in-the-skies motif in the back dining room. Minimal natural lighting came through the various windows and front doors (none in the back dining room) while cooling warm (like you were inside an igloo) electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. OVERALL It was a pleasure eating at Gold Hibachi Buffet, and my family would definitely return! Generally speaking, the food was very good with ample selections (I didn't try everything, but I didn't notice as many meat or vegetable options), the pricing was very comparable (cheaper than our favorite Vegas Seafood Buffet), and the service was straightforward and easy. We also liked that they had their own parking lot. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience per person was around $26.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Came here many times and it's just as good. Love the Jumbo shrimp, and many variety this place offers. Waiters/Waitresses were nice, food decent, lots of parking spaces. Drinks(included), ICE Cream, fruits, etc.... Next Door to Costco so you can have your Tires Install and eat here while you wait. There's a Hotel next door, bring your Date/GF/Wife/etc....there "if" you ever feel like hanky panky, there's Albertson's across the Street to buy Alcohol and bring to the room or just feeling tipsy, hangout and chill out. :D
